Dale Marie Muller's creative process is rooted in firsthand observation of animals in their natural environments, where she studies anatomy, movement, texture, light and mood. She sees each animal as an individual allowing its gesture, behavior and spirit to guide the artwork.   

Dale is widely recognized for the intricacy and expressive quality of her graphite work. Her highly detailed drawings and paintings are often paired with open, minimalist compositions that remove distraction and allow the animal to become the story.
